About Menopause

Oestrogen is a kind of hormone that has an important role in the health of women.
Women’s oestrogen levels fall during perimenopause. Perimenopause is a period of
time when a woman’s hormones start to change and cause symptoms, before her
menstrual period stops fully.

Menopause symptoms can consist of hot flushes, night sweats mood swings, thinning
hair and loss of bone density. Physical activity and adequate nutrition can help to
manage some menopause symptoms.
